Energy Smart

Barry, it sounds like a clever name for a program, but just exactly what is it?

I'm glad you asked. Energy Smart is our way of including energy saving products, systems, and methodologies into your home, using a practical approach. You could say that we're being "Smart" about it.

There are myriad products and companies claiming to be able to save you a buck or two. Most of them tout how energy efficient their product is. A handful of them go a step further and claim to be environmentally friendly.

We don't take their word for it. We listen, we learn, we experiment, we fine tune, and we TEST. We find what products actually save you money and how long it will take to pay for them. In the business world, it's called ROI, or Return on Investment.

We have investigated windows, radiant barrier, roofing, insulation, HVAC systems, ERVs, lighting, water heating, ventilation, sheathing, etc.

We make sure that you are getting what you are paying for. We tell you how much it is going to cost and how you will benefit. We do all the homework so that you get the most Energy Efficient home you can possibly buy for the amount of money that you want to spend.
